Tears of Unity
I think crying is so beautiful. I love witnessing a person in tears. Not because it brings me joy to see people sad. But because of the relationship I’ve developed with crying over a life of being hypersensitive.
To me, it’s a way of calibrating to a new version of ourselves. A version more aligned to our highest essence.
To me, tears are like a release valve when there is too much pressure held inside. When so much energy is moving through us that it doesn’t know where to go.
I know that when someone cries, they’re in some sort of alternate state of consciousness. Nothing else can be done while we weep. It’s a medicine journey, a forced meditation.
And we come out on the other side so grounded, present and clear. And bigger of a container to hold the navigate the intensity next time it comes around.
I pray for a world where we can cry in front of one another without feeling like a burden. I pray for a world where we can receive and witness someone’s tears without discomfort or need to do anything other than hold space with love.
For the love of humanity, embrace your emotions my love. So much elevation will come through our honouring of the full spectrum of what it means to be human.
I honour you in all that you are. 💖
