Daughter Earth

“Daughter Earth” is a piece created for Earth Daughters Festival 2024. I brought this giant blank canvas (my biggest painting ever) with the intention of live painting throughout the weekend, but I didn’t plan in advance what I was gonna paint, like I normally do. I just trusted that it would work out. Then as I was falling asleep on my first night, this exchange between the crone and the wild woman appeared to me. How fitting for an event called “Earth Daughters”? I’m so honoured and grateful to have been invited and supported in this project. The piece was up for auction and the highest bid has been donated to a woman in need.
